Red Spotted Purple and Sunflower - A Red Spotted Purple Butterfly hovers over a brilliant golden yellow sunflower.  This painting was inspired by our backyard sunflowers and the many beautiful butterflies that come to dine.  It was created on a professional grade hardboard panel and is easy to frame.  A spray varnish was used to enhance and preserve the vibrant oil colors.
