Mountain Springtime - Springtime in the mountains with a muddy road lined with spring flowers and leading to houses and a barn.  This painting was inspired by the country mountain landscape in Western North Carolina and created entirely with a painting knife allowing texture to show in the brilliant spring colors.  It was created on a Fredrix canvas panel using professional grade oils.   A spray varnish was used to enhance and preserve the vibrant oil colors.
