Meadowlark - The melodious Eastern Meadowlark surrounded with yellow-orange flowers on a tan background. This realistic painting was inspired by the many bird visitors to our backyard habitat.  Having not had the opportunity to see this particular meadowlark in person, photos from my bird books led to this creation. It was created on a masonite panel using professional grade oils.  A spray varnish was used to enhance and preserve the vibrant oil colors.

NOTE: This painting would make a nice matching pair with "Scarlet Tanager" as they are the same style, have the same frame and colors coordinate well.
