In The Pink - An American Goldfinch samples seeds from a pink coneflower. This realistic painting was inspired by the many birds that visit our backyard habitat - including the bright yellow goldfinches.  It was created on a premium hardboard panel using professional grade acrylics.  A spray varnish was used to enhance and preserve the vibrant colors.
