Flags At Sunset- Flags waving in a mountain landscape, looking toward the mountains and Chimney Rock with an eagle soariing into a glorious sunset.  This painting was inspired by a photo I took of the flags across from the beach in Lake Lure with the majestic bald mountains of Chimney Rock in the background.  Chimney Rock can be seen in the right upper portion of the painting where a small flag is also flying.  The painting was created on a Fredrix stretched canvas using professional grade oils.   A spray varnish was used to enhance and preserve the vibrant oil colors.
