Eyes of the Forest - Grey Wold - A grey wolf watches from the forest as sunlight streaks down through the branches. Wolves are one of my favorite subjects - I enjoyed doing this painting and concentrating on the wolf's head with the focused eyes. It was created on Fredrix archival stretched canvas with staple free edges using professional grade oils. The edges were painted with a continuation of the image so the painting can be hung unframed, if so desired. A spray varnish was used to enhance and preserve the vibrant oil colors.
