Baltimore Oriole - A bright orange and black oriole on a branch of spring blossoms with a contrasting blue sky background.  This realistic painting was inspired by the many bird visitors to our backyard habitat including the orioles who arrive in early May. It was created on Centurion archival stretched linen with staple free edges using professional grade oils.  A spray varnish was used to enhance and preserve the vibrant oil colors.
